Relocated residents are encouraged to pick up their medicines on a regular basis from the Outpatient Clinic (if from Chennai) or from a local source, such as an NGO linked to The Banyan. As an incentive, The Banyan provides the relocated residents with a Disability Allowance of Rs. 200/- on a monthly basis, a significant aid especially in the rural areas where money is hard to come by.
