The story of Vasanthi

Vasanthi had got her share of glamour while working at a famous film director's house in T. Nagar. Unfortunately, after some time, her mental illness had aggravated and she had been unable to handle her job responsibilities. She was thrown out of the house, ending up in the streets with nothing, not a single rupee to buy rice with, and no one to help her out. Luckily someone gave The Banyan a call, and we rescued her and brought her to Adaikalam. At Adaikalam she gradually started feeling better and, after 3 months, she was able to give the address for her family. She was reunited with her family a few weeks ago, and is now back home. She is receiving the caring and support from her family that she needs the most.
